Huffington Post Op-Ed: The Wrong Time to Cut Funding for AIDS
The administration’s proposed 2018 budget includes significant cuts to the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), which would impact the work of GAIA and other organizations aiming to end AIDS. In response, GAIA and faith leaders from 16 states have signed a letter to Congress, asking for maintenance of funding for AIDS care and treatment.
