GAIA Premieres AIDS Isn’t Over…But It Could Be.
Every year, we honor World AIDS Day by remembering the 35 million people lost to the world’s deadliest pandemic. Every year, we pause and recommit ourselves to making that number smaller than the year before. This year, we have the chance to render World AIDS Day obsolete. UNAIDS has determined that if, by 2020, we can identify 90% of the world’s HIV cases, move 90% of them onto anti-retroviral treatment, and attain viral suppression in 90% of those treated, we will achieve a tipping point and end the AIDS epidemic.
The window of opportunity is finite, however.
In the spirit of World AIDS Day, we’d like to share an exclusive first look at our new short film, AIDS Isn’t Over…But It Could Be. Please honor this day by devoting the few minutes necessary to watch the film here. We know you’ll be inspired by the difference we’re making together.
